The Disruption Campaign photoshoot
The new campaign, Disruption was shot by photographer Ruby Woodhouse and creative direction by Kevin Pfaff (Girls on their way home), on location at Danish architect Arne Jacobsen ‘s old petrol station from 1936, north of Copenhagen.
We all know the scent of change is in the air in the world of fashion. In recent years interrelations between fashion, power and gender has reached a high and strong voice from both within and outside of the fashion industry. Rather than seeing gender as two separate poles, a fluid experimental way of dressing and bending of the gender lines is at play. The in-between is much more interesting than either-or.
With effortlessly chic androgynous forms and expressions, Maria Black’s newly introduced collection, Disruption, alongside the new campaign places itself in the debate, and the trending gray area of uni-sex, gender-neutral jewellery.
