HOW TO PREPARE BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- We pierce kids. But if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be present.
- We recommend waiting three months after giving birth before getting pierced, to allow for proper rest and recovery.
- Please inform us if you are travelling shortly after your appointment.
- We recommend exploring our Piercing Placement Guide before your visit to get inspired and understand different placements.
- You can browse our jewellery selection online in advance - purchase your piece beforehand or choose it in-store during your appointment.
- Make sure to eat beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol or blood-thinning substances prior to your visit.
- Arrive with clean skin and hair around the area to ensure optimal hygiene.
- Our piercers are experts and will guide you towards the ideal placement and jewellery, tailored to your anatomy, lifestyle, and personal style.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Your piercer will consult with you to find the perfect placement and jewellery, based on your anatomy and aesthetic preferences.
- All jewellery is professionally sterilised to ensure a safe and hygienic procedure.
- The selected area will be carefully cleaned, marked, and pierced using sterile, single-use needles for accurate placements and hygine - we never use piercing guns.
- Our professional piercers work with the highest hygiene standards and will guide you through each step to ensure a calm and comfortable experience.
- You will receive detailed aftercare guidance, healing expectations, and information about follow-up appointments.
HOW TO TAKE CARE AFTER BEING PIERCED
- You will receive a complimentary saline spray along with personalised aftercare guidance from your piercer.
- Clean your piercing daily and avoid touching or twisting the jewellery unnecessarily. Follow our aftercare guide.
- Do not remove or change your jewellery until fully healed, and avoid exposure to makeup, hair products, or unclean environments.
- Avoid swimming, pressure, and friction (e.g. sleeping on the piercing) during the healing period.
- Healing times vary depending on placement - your piercer will guide you on what to expect.
- If you experience prolonged irritation or discomfort, we recommend reaching out or booking a follow-up.
- You are always welcome to book follow-up appointments - as many as you need.
